Job Summary

Under the direction of the Vice President of Corporate Development, the Director of Financial Planning and Strategic Analysis is responsible for the financial planning and analysis of key strategic initiatives and projects. The role will focus on providing senior management with financial intelligence necessary to make informed decisions aimed at enhancing the competitive posture of Northwest Hospital as well as the organization’s overall performance.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in business, health care, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years related experience
• Understanding of industry economics
• Project management and financial analysis experience
• Experience with program development and/or developing business plans
• Highly Proficient computer skills, especially in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and database programs
• Must be able to adjust approach and style, to meet the needs of each customer
• Flexibility to adjust schedule to meet the needs of project deadlines
• Ability to build trust, lead teams to gain consensus and be a team player
• Ability to work well with physicians in a collaborative manner
• Must maintain a current Washington state driver’s license and have a good driving record

Preferred Qualifications:

• MHA, MPH, MPA, or MBA
• Experience in healthcare industry
